Stunning views of the grand
Sri Ram Darbar can be seen from the first floor of the
Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir as
Ayodhya prepares for
Diwali 2025. This level, which evokes architectural splendor and spiritual reverence, is a magnificent representation of Lord Rama's royal court.
The first level comprises five elaborately built halls: Nritya Mandap, Rang Mandap, Sabha Mandap, Prarthana Mandap, and Kirtan Mandap. At the center stand marble statues of Lord Ram, Mata Sita, Lord Hanuman, and Lord Ram's brothers—Shatrughan, Lakshman, and Bharat. Lakshman and Shatrughan stand reverently behind Ram and Sita, who are seated on a gold-plated throne, with Hanuman and Bharat positioned respectfully at their feet.
Its majesty is enhanced by the fact that the entire edifice is supported by over 140 carved pillars that are decorated with images of God. The spiritual focal point of Ayodhya's
Deepotsav festivities is still the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir. The main Deepotsav will take place on October 19, one day before Diwali, and will wrap up this year's celebrations, which will take place from October 18 to October 20. A record 28 lakh diyas will light up the city, turning the
Saryu River's ghats into a sea of golden light.
There will be
rangoli art, LED lighting, and
flower decorations throughout the temple and its surroundings.
