Delhi–Dehradun Expressway

Once the Delhi–Dehradun Expressway opens on April 14, 2026, it will reduce travel time to just 2.5 hours and cause a real estate boom in Dehradun, western Uttar Pradesh, and the National Capital Region. Strong demand is anticipated in planned developments, logistics hubs, and factories, and property values in these markets are already rising by 15–30%. To maximize returns, investors must focus on planned projects and early-stage land purchases. The project is part of the Bharatmala Pariyojana, which aims to improve tourism, industrial growth, and connections between regions. The expressway is expected to be more than just a way for people to get around; it will also be a logistics backbone, helping western UP's warehousing and agriculture-based industries.  For real estate, this means that there will be a lot more demand for plotted developments, affordable housing, and logistics parks along the corridor. Dehradun, in particular, is likely to benefit from high-end housing demand, w...

KISSAN "Fresh Tomato" Ketchup is a scam!

Recently, while scrolling Instagram, there were many posts and reels regarding the FSSAI food scam. I thought, why are there lots of people commenting to be safe with the FSSAI food scam? Firstly, I thought it was just an algorithm of Instagram, but yesterday, suddenly, while searching for food security and safety from FSSAI, I found there are many such complaints posted. While I was having my meal through this ongoing search, I was pouring Kissan fresh tomato ketchup, and suddenly my eyes hit the mark of "FSSAI approved."  At that moment, my mind questioned checking the labeling and packaging. I checked the packaging, and I was shocked to see the line that was written in a very small font that says "only brand name and doesn't represent true nature," after which I thought that all the ads and packaging are only for customer attraction and branding; nothing is related to the concept of trustworthiness or originality. People often, when buying, think that these b...

Toxic Chemicals in Chocolates banned in Europe and USA but legal in India

Many chocolates and candies sold in India still contain additives that have been banned in Europe and restricted in parts of the USA due to health concerns.  Substances like Red Dye 3 (Erythrosine) , Titanium Dioxide (E171) , and preservatives such as BHA/BHT are widely used to enhance color, texture, and shelf life, even though studies link them to risks like cancer, DNA damage, and hyperactivity in children. These chocolate packages such as gems, melody, eclairs, kismi etc contain these chemicals and on back side of this chocolate contains this information but who has time to read this notice. It is such an irony, same as people know smoking is injurious to health but then to consume it  The difference arises because Europe follows a strict precautionary principle—banning chemicals if there’s evidence of harm—while India’s food safety rules under FSSAI remain more permissive and slower to adopt global bans. As a result, Indian consumers are exposed to additives that are no ...

Foods that give you Protein without Protein powder or Chicken

Lot of people think that proteins can only be gained through protein powder or through chicken, but even in veg meal course there are many different kinds of food sources that provide you with rich protein-based diet.  Nutrition guidelines suggest that most adults need about 0.8 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight each day, which often translates to around 50–60 grams for many people, and more for those who are active or trying to build muscle. 1. A bowl of Greek yogurt can serve you 20gms of protein and will be heavy diet full of  chopped fruit, a handful of nuts or seeds, and a drizzle of honey if you like a little sweetness. it can fulfill your night cravings and can also work as a heavy breakfast.  2. Homemade Paneer bhurji one of the best and richest sources of protein with 18gms and it will also help to satisfy hotel cravings and veggies to boost health.  3. Fake Internship Scam

Recently, while scrolling down LinkedIn, I have seen many people jotting about fake internship programs making people work full-time without pay or with a very small amount of stipend.  These scams are very normal and have been running for a very long time. They are being highlighted now as there are many true companies that hire you for full-time and pay less but give you lots of experience, and on the other hand, now people have started to fake these jobs and internship offers. They hire and make you work for their profit and either pay you or keep the terms and conditions, such as for a certificate + learning, and highlight the feature that you will be able to add this to your CV. But this sort of term and condition makes you work worse than a daily wage worker. These sorts of internships or part-time work with less or no pay are a type of hindrance to the right to pay for work.  As one of these scams happened to me while I was in college, I applied for digital marketing, a...

Income Tax Rules 2026: New Benefits & Simplified Compliance for Salaried Employees

The Income-tax Rules, 2026 have made a number of significant adjustments that help salaried workers and make compliance easier. The emphasis has turned to structured salary components that can lower taxable income, even though tax slabs have not altered. Expanded House Rent Allowance (HRA) advantages for four new cities (Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru), greater meal card exemptions, and higher allowances for children's schooling and hostel costs under the previous system are some of the main attractions. Additionally, perks like festival coupons, concessional loans, and business automobiles have been simplified to make them more tax efficient. The regulations also introduce procedural improvements. For many taxpayers, compliance has been made easier by expanding the scope of simplified return filing (ITR-1 and ITR-4) to include persons with up to two home properties. However, limitations currently prohibit filingITR-4 if deductions are made under "Income from Other ...
